Fashion Favourites

This week seemed to fly by like the others, a big week for fashion and new launches. As we begin to close out the working week and prepare for rest,  here are our five favourite fashion moments from RUSSH.

Dior Maxi Saddle Bag

Dior

Little did we know that Dior menswear creative director Kim Jones was busy reinterpreting a Dior classic? The iconic Saddle Bag just went maxi size, almost a reimagined messenger bag in its expansive approach. Functionality and practicality just reached new volumes all kitted out with removable smartphone cases and adjustable straps, the new Dior Saddle bag takes on an elegant and perhaps urban? twist on everyone's favourite.

Celine Lunch Box Bag

Celine

Celine have introduced a completely new silhouette this week, introducing the new Lunch Box Bag. A personal favourite, the Lunch Box bag was creative director Heidi Slimane's rendition of a lunch box, reimagining a classic in its distinctive shape, that actually required a high level of craftsmanship. The bag features the classic Celine Triomphe motif closure and is available in tan calfskin, black lizard, canvas and quaint in natural wicker.

Maison MargielaReebok

Reebok

Maison Margiela and Reebok have released two new silhouettes in collaboration this week, introducing the Club C Maison Margiela. A classic contemporary shoe with a John Galliano (for Margiela) twist, the shoe marries the design signatures of both brands in its reinterpretation of the Club C tennis shoe, a Reebok classic. Cleverly playing on the deception of the eye with trompe l’oeil, the sneaker’s one-cut upper is printed with a scanned digital of Reebok’s original Club C shoe, blurring the lines between 3D and 2D. The Club C Maison Margiela is available in white or black and went on sale this week.
