The premise of the treatment (Cryotherapy) is to increase energy by chilling the body – the cryotherapy chamber in Sydney cools to -140 degrees, and you remain standing inside it for three minutes. With an attendant controlling the temperature (and making conversation so the time flies by), it’s over just as soon as you start to think you won’t be able to last any longer. After tough training sessions in the morning, if followed by a session of Cryotherapy, we noticed a reduction in muscle pain and an increase in energy reserves.
