Clear Skincare Clinics has a treatment for all skin types to get that summer glow

In partnership with Clear Skincare Clinics

Summer, the time to shed the heavy layers and turn our faces towards the sun. As we embrace the warm weather activities, we're opting for minimal makeup; swapping out heavy creams for light serums, and seeking hydration sans oiliness. Achieving a summer glow requires upkeep, but not just with skin treatments that come from a jar.

Here at RUSSH, we're big advocates for introducing regular treatments into your beauty routine if you have the means, be it LED Light Therapy or Skin Needling. But for the uninitiated it can be difficult to navigate what treatments are for you, and what ones you can do without. As a result, we're leaning into the knowledge of Clear Skincare Clinics to light the path forward.

Since 1999, Clear Skincare Clinics has been our local go-to spot for advice on acne, injectables, laser hair removal and skin treatments; with more than 80 clinics across Australia ready to answer our skins' needs. So, in the interest of healthy, glowing summer complexions, we're coming to you with four treatments tailored to a variety of different skin types that are being offered at the Clear Skincare Clinics. Find them, below.

Vitamin C Skin peel

For those new to the realm of peels, Clear Skincare Clinics' Vitamin C iteration is the perfect place to ease in. Among the clinics many offerings, the Vitamin C Peel is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive among us and is a great hack to glowing skin before any important events. Loved for how quick and effective it is, peels embrace the power of naturally derived acids, in this case Vitamin C, to cast off dead skin, clear congestion and boost radiance. As folk living under this hole ridden o-zone layer, this peel is a blessing for sun damaged skin, and a trick you'll want in your corner come summertime.

Microdermabrasion

As has been well-established, the ticket to glowing skin is often stuck underneath the crusty, flaky and tired layer of dead skin clogging up your complexion. You need to cleanse this in order to see results. One way of doing this is through the process called Microdermabrasion. At first it may seem scary — we're constantly told to be gentle with our skin — but the process is completely painless. All it is, is an expert-led process of exfoliation, where a machine deeply exfoliates your skin, sucking up dead skin cells, blackheads and general congestion to improve the texture of skin and increase blood flow.

LED Light Treatment

LED Light Treatment is a favourite of anyone looking to treat acne scarring, calm breakouts or soothe rosacea. Using varying low-level wavelengths of light, including red and blue, LED Light Therapy penetrates the skin cells to stimulate their natural healing process. For those who have never undergone this treatment before, it simply feels as though you're laying underneath warm sunlight, but without exposing yourself to harmful UV rays. The soothing LED lights speed up healing, leaving your skin looking rejuvenated. Sign us up!

HydraFacial

RUSSH's Mia Steiber was once told a Hydrafacial is like "a gym workout for the skin". The highly recommended Hydrafacial uses what is called a Vortex Pen to simultaneously vacuum up congestion and comedones, before blasting the skin with serums chosen by your therapist to suit your skin situation. This allows the serums to penetrate deeply and will give you that coveted hydrated look.

You can book any of these four treatments online at the Clear Skincare Clinics website. Or you can call up your local Clear Skincare Clinic to make a booking over the phone.
