Melbourne pop trio Blusher send postcards from their tour with Aurora

Back in March, Melbourne-based pop trio Blusher set out on a national tour in support of the ethereal, sprite-like Norwegian singer Aurora. With sold out shows across the country and Dead End, their new single out in the world, the three best friends – Miranda Ward, Lauren Coutts and Jade Ingvarson-Favretto – captured moments behind-the-scenes from this time for RUSSH.

"Our first stop on the tour was Auckland, where Jade befriended New Zealand’s national mascot in the green room. The crowd at this show was incredible and so encouraging to us, it was such a sweet way to kick off the tour."

"Hydration and final makeup touches, right before we stepped on stage in Auckland. (We sweated off our makeup by the third song of the set, but hey, we started strong.)"

"Our first ever merch! So cool to see our little Blusher logo have her minimalist fashion moment on these tees. We loved chatting to people at the merch stand after our set, and basically just gushing about how excited we all were for Aurora’s set to start."

"Shaun is more than just a cute peeping head, he’s our wonderful sound engineer!"

"Pre-show stretches are essential to prepare to hit those dance moves hard."

"A final check of the Ableton session to make sure it’s foolproof to stave off the nightmares."

"Ooh! So many backstage treats to choose from. A banana? A knob of ginger? We always make sure that the Blusher green room is fully stocked with tea."

"It’s always nice to say hello to the stage during soundcheck, so that we feel grounded during the show."

"A post-show celebration champagne in Sydney."
