MADE Sydney presented by Mercedes-Benz will fuse fashion, art, music and skate for a weekend of showings, pop-up retail venues, DJ sets from the likes of Pelvis and Otis Prinz, the premier of The High Life: Slim Aarons and luxury Parisian streetwear label Faith Connexion’s runway show.

Think bigger: large scale and oversized bags took over this season. From Céline, to Loewe, and Balenciaga of course, SS 17 was built for more.

When Melbourne duo ALTA get together to create their tripped out and dreamy brand of soul, it’s not only sound that gets recorded. “When we write music we usually have an old camera floating around to take candid shots of each other and things that inspire us,” they explain. Here, band members Hannah Lesser and Julius Dowson share those taken across their home state during the recording of new EP, Sincere.
