It’s official – Anya Taylor-Joy is now a global brand ambassador for Dior

On the road to world domination, Anya Taylor-Joy has managed to add another title to her belt. The Queens Gambit actress has just been appointed Global Ambassador for Women's Fashion and Makeup at Dior. We have to admit, we did see this one coming. After all, over the course of the past year Anya Taylor-Joy has opted for Dior at almost all of her red carpets. Remember that emerald green couture dress she wore to the 2021 Golden Globes, or the canary yellow, backless Emmys gown?

Now that she's been welcomed into the très chic club of Dior Ambassadors - which also includes Jisoo from BLACKPINK and Yara Shahidi - Anya Taylor-Joy will have official Dior business to attend to. What does that mean? According to a press release her duties include, "showcasing the designs and creations of women's creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri and creative and image director of makeup Peter Philips". Which in other words, simply translates as wearing Dior whenever possible...sign us up!

Over Instagram Dior made the partnership official, declaring Anya Taylor-Joy the "embodiment of the contemporary Dior woman". We have to agree. Between taking out the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an actress in a mini series and being honoured as 'Face of the Year' at the forthcoming CFDA Awards, it's clear Taylor-Joy's elegance and talent isn't going unnoticed.

If you thought Anya Taylor-Joy would take this opportunity to put up her feet and call it a day, boy were you mistaken. The actress has signed on to a slate of upcoming film and television productions like Edgar Wright's Last Night in Soho and the gritty, coming-of-age film Here Are The Young MenFind the trailer for each film on RUSSH.
