These are all the designers we’re lusting after in The Inspired Co’s latest project

It's truly been a trying few years, for everyone, but especially the fashion industry, because of, well... you know already. That's why it's so utterly uplifting to be reminded of the vitality, creativity and originality that dwells within this industry. Especially when it's a collaborative feat. There's something about artists and designers coming together that acts as a tonic for the spirit. To know that there are webs of communities linking together to support each other. This is how it felt today seeing the latest project from the Inspired Co.

Just before Sydney withdrew into their second lockdown, a team of creatives from the Inspired Co. sought out the coastline. An apt backdrop to an editorial that platforms sustainable designers that have their roots in Australia and across the ditch. Next to soothing scenes of silver waters and clear skies, emerge iterations of peasant sleeves. Silk organza in New-Zealand made Maggie Marilyn's 'Nicks Dress' softens in comparison to Autark's crisp cotton blouse. While a showing of formality in St. Agni's sand-tinged suit and a Van Der Kooij vest introduces structure and a welcome surprise.

As we've come to expect from The Inspired Co., it's the accessories that sing here and appeal to our aspirational side. Rylan Studio's shiny calf leather satchel with it's signature brass belt buckle is pawed alongside statement earrings from Sydney-based jeweller Jessica Balyck. While a gold chain is looped through the collar of a decidedly unbuttoned Autark shirt.

Nestled from the heat, Nabila Leunig from IMG is draped in a textured floor length skirt, belted around her midriff. The peasant sleeve motif continues, this time in stone with open-ended sleeves. While she retains similar extravagance below, Leunig is latched in to a fitted Trelise Cooper jacket. Baroque pearls from Balyck sitting just above her shoulders.
