A sweet finesse: Van Cleef & Arpels go 3D with new Perlée

VCA

The Maison of Van Cleef & Arpels beloved golden beads and sweet clover, Perlée, sees itself to a new and refined renewal with the launch of the Maison's six new pieces in part of its new Perlée collection.

Loyal and true to the Maison's joyful and radiant design codes, the new Perlée draws inspiration from its original Perlée clover design, staying true to the Maison's traditions in excellence with each and every golden bead set, polished and finished by hand.

Contoured and bevelled with beads and motifed in clovers, the new Perlée features six renewed creations, an endearing capsule of bracelets and rings in varying hues of white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. With each and every golden bead surrounded by four diamonds including ribbons of ten clover motifs on the bracelet and five clovers embellishing the new rings, the new Perlée subtly plays on ribbons of light, reflections and volumes, celebrating the collections unique curvatures and renderings.

To celebrate the new and renewed Perlée collection, the Maison have invited a fine selection of graphic designers and visual artists to collaborate in a series of visuals and short films to commemorate the Maison's new and reimagined collection. Selected artists include Parisian artist Arthur Hoffner, Singaporean motion graphics artist Clement Chia and Friedrich Neuman from Germany; whom respective to their chosen discipline, have all produced bodies of work specialszing in 3D animation that render the fine lines, curvature and playful volumes of the renewed Perlée.

Originally born in 2008, derivative of the Maison's stones and motifs from the 1920's; the new collection is a testament to the excellence in craftsmanship and the long-holding traditions of the Van Cleef & Arpels Maison. Holding true to its mastery in shape and light, the new Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée collection is available at Van Cleef & Arpels boutiques worldwide and more information available at vancleefarpels.com.
