This summer the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne, presents Unfinished Business: Perspectives on art and feminism. The exhibition is a multidisciplinary display featuring paintings, photography, performance - each platform interacting in a wider dialogue, asking viewers if feminism is still relevant, and why? Adopting a truly collaborative approach, the exhibition has sourced works from over 40 artists including Ann Newmarch, Elizabeth Gower and Claudia Nicholson, exploring themes such as the representation of women in media, pay disparity, violence against women and abortion, to name a few. Unfinished Business opens at the ACCA on December 15 and will run through March 25, 2018.
