Tommy Cash has buttered us up with a potential bread themed collaboration alongside IKEA

In news that is sure to get a rise out of us all, Tommy Cash has announced his plans for yet another bread-themed collaboration, this time with beloved furniture conglomerate IKEA.

Coming from a post on Instagram, the Estonian rapper shared a sneak peak of the potential upcoming release. The latest design, coined as the "Loafa" has been produced by artist Gab Bois and features a raised brioche structure. Cash went on to say that IKEA will give the green light on the design if it receives 10,000 comments. IKEA has yet to confirm any release but as things stand the post has received up to 11,872 comments and counting. This comes as the second bread themed collaboration, following on from his team up with Maison Margiela. The capsule collection featured a sampling of  bread themed loafers, which naturally, we will be buying.

Given the list of comments online, the collaboration looks to be a success in the making. One user even going as far to say they want the sofa to match their Margiela capsule loafers. This would be the first real foray into food-themed interiors for the Scandinavian brand. Although, it seems over the past few years there has been a vested interest in food-themed furniture to make a return. Kitsch and curvaceous pieces have been a focal point in design across social media. Recently, Dutch designer Edward Van Vliet adapted his sushi collection for Moroso featuring a face to face bench and low table paying homage to the Japanese cuisine. The collection was an instant success and has since been scoured all over by designers looking for similar replicas.

In the meantime, we'll anxiously await for the time we can sink our bodies into the "Loafa's" buttery buns. We'll be sure to update with any further developments. You can take a look at the new glorious collaboration below.
