History repeats itself: Sofia Coppola’s daughter is Marc Jacobs’ latest muse

Romy Croquet Sofia Copolla Marc Jacobs

A formidable duo, designer Marc Jacobs and director Sofia Coppola's friendship is one for the ages. The ultimate muse for Jacobs' eponymous label and beyond, it was only a matter of time before Coppola's eldest daughter, Romy Croquet, followed in her mother's footsteps.

Debuting as the face of Marc Jacobs' new diffusion line Heaven, the almost 14-year-old comes into her own as she poses effortlessly in the brand's latest collection. The shoot, which was styled and captured by Croquet herself exudes the grunge 90s teen vibe that Jacobs' is so historically known for.

A playful and vibrant take, Romy sports some of the collection's most noteworthy pieces – a green zipper hoodie adorned with pink bears, a graphic long-sleeve knit and a sunflower inspired sundress perfect for warm days to come. Jacobs' continues the recurring bear imagery through his accessories, featuring a backpack and keychain resembling double-headed stuffed bears.

Heaven, the polysexual line which launched as part of the Marc Jacobs brand in September this year, offers a range of items at a more affordable price point than the designers usual collection. All without compromising on the signature Marc Jacobs style, of course.

"Heaven is a world within our Marc Jacobs world," said Jacobs in a previous statement. "It continues the momentum that we've always had of bringing creative people together and making something with a lot of integrity and a real respect for the spirit in which we built the company, but doing it through a lens that is completely of this moment."

The Heaven collection is available to shop online at Marc Jacobs.
