Welcome to RUSSH Weekend. We're so pleased to introduce you to our two-day special event, a festival for creative minds.
RUSSH Weekend is an intimate online community event that will take place across two days, on the weekend of July 18 and 19. Since we're currently unable to get out to our favourite live events, we're bringing them to you instead. Straight into your living room via our Instagram Live channel @russhmagazine.
We've prepared a full calendar of interactive events including talks, guides, live music gigs and classes - all for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home. RUSSH Weekend will feature Australian artists, educators, activists and people who inspire us and our community.
We're talking chefs, musicians, dancers, visual artists and experts who will engage in conversations, classes and live performances directly to our RUSSH audience. Tune in for online gigs, art classes, conversations on mental health and the future of fashion.
Who can you expect to see at RUSSH Weekend? We're not ready to give away all the details just yet. But we can reveal a few of the names you'll be seeing. Musical artists Wafia, Lara Andallo and Jack Gray will be in the lineup. We'll also see Laura May of Nagnata, dance company Bangarra, artist Bobby Clark, Astrologer Jules Ferrari x Orchard St., House of Silky, The Slowdown, Tiddas 4 Tiddas and Groundswell Giving with Groundswell First Nations consultant Lille Madden.
We'll be releasing the names of new artists and guests on the lineup every Thursday, so make sure to watch this space for more details as they emerge.
This is a festival for you, for us and for our creative community, a meeting of minds and a chance for us to connect in our new socially distanced reality. In embracing our new normal - and ensuring sessions are available to the entirety of our RUSSH audience - this online platform means RUSSH Weekend can be accessed from anywhere.
We invite anyone who wants to feel inspired, renewed among kindred spirits to join us for #RUSSHWeekend.
We hope to see you there.
