The ‘RUSSH’ editors share what’s on their spring wishlist

If there's one thing you can bank on, it's the RUSSH editors having a very, very long wishlist. As we pack away our coats and prepare for the warm months ahead, we're taking stock of our closets and homes. Some of us want to replenish our essentials while others are filling their cart just for the fun of it. Below, all the pieces the RUSSH editors are eyeing off for spring.

Oh my gosh I LOVE shopping. I’m definitely the fill the online cart just for fun then walk away kinda gal. I am however seriously considering committing to these adorable and very silly RASKU shoes and these super fun Loewe heels. With the whole world obsessed with quiet luxury, I feel like rebelling a little.

I’m also filling my apartment with lots of goodies at the moment after a recent move, and my 1stDibs wishlist is rather full. Some "one day" saves include this incredible Charles Rennie Mackintosh chair and this gorgeous Stilnovo Lampiatta lamp. WISH-list is definitely the word.

Anyone who knows me knows about my obsession with slippers. I always have at least three pairs in rotation and the next to join are these Raf Simons X Kvadrat plus the matching robe, oh and the towels would be great… actually anything from this collection, I’ll take it all.

Since moving to Australia, my birthday has moved to spring, which means I justify birthday gifts as necessary spring essentials. My wishlist is a mixture of the practical and the insane. Practically, I need some new headphones (mine have disintegrated and leave black flecks all over my face), so I’m fantasising about the Bang and Olufsen H95 set and if someone can find me an original Ladderax system to house our growing book and record collection, I would be grateful. Every birthday I think I’m going to become a more chic and grown up person so I fantasise about purchasing some tailoring like this Dries blazer, or this pearl number by Stella McCartney. I still remain the same however, and buy a ridiculous party dress that I become sentimentally attached to instead. This year I’d like . I will be buying plenty of Ruinart Champagne for the party and serving only bread, butter and Ortiz anchovies. You’re welcome.

I’ve just moved to a new apartment so my attention has been focused on homewares. I’ve been eyeing off this Softedge Studios Rolled Rim Dinner Plate and this bedding set from Deiji Studios in Botanical Stripe. Sartorially, I’ve been obsessing over Mur Jewellery’s Bubble Alphabet Necklaces, Belle the Label’s Ballerina Dress in Black, and, somewhat predictably, I am one of the many currently hunting down a pair of the adidas Handball Spezial Sneakers in Navy Blue. Sue me!

I’m ready to keep the Euro vibes rolling as we head into a scorcher of a summer here in Australia. In an ideal world where money grows on trees, I’d pick up a cheeky pair of The Row’s flip flops, an Acne Studios beach bag and a cute With Jean bikini to spend the summer months lying around the South Coast doing NOTHING in. Outside of beach attire, I’ve got my eye on this cute Lisa Says Gah summer dress that, paired with a little Yu Mei clutch (I travel light in summer) and a pair of Asics Kayano Legacies, will take me to sunset drinks and beyond.

Considering that all I do is talk rubbish and save things on eBay – yes, it just so happens that I do have some bits on my spring wishlist. I don't really buy anything brand new anymore but I recently got my tax back and stocked up on all the basics: new bras, undies, a one piece for swimming laps, some makeup brushes – that sort of thing, and it feels great. During this spending spree I snapped up a couple of tanks from Flore Flore, a purchase inspired by this one Sofia Coppola is wearing. I have a few more wardrobe staples on my wishlist: a simple black mini skirt from Tank Air, some pointelle t-shirts like these from Leset, and a pair of gym shorts from Relax Lacrosse, but they're low priority and who knows, maybe I can find them at Vinnies or on Depop? The last thing that's on my mind is a new pair of spring sandals. I've been bidding on every platform Prada ones I can find, and I really like this style of Gucci Horsebit clogs.

I just got back from Paris where I decided to invest in a classic loafer (I almost bought a ballerina, but decided it was too much of a trend-driven purchase). I toyed with these Celine ones but ended up with a pair from Saint Laurent instead, love them. I’m also getting married in January so my wish list feels very bridal. I currently have these Khaite shoes in my cart, and this veil. Big fan of this Ciao Lucia dress for surrounding events, too. Finally, this is a random one but I’m playing with fire leaving this Versace dress in my TRR obsessions list. It feels like one of those pieces I’ll wear again and again. I really should pull the trigger… Someone with a sexy occasion in their calendar should do me a favour and buy this Versace dress, too.

I have come to realise all the shoes I own are either sneakers or boots, so a lot of the items on my wishlist are shoes. Similar to Emily, I am keen to invest in some loafers, especially these Miu Miu penny loafers, it is terrible how much I want these. Some kitten heels are an investment I'm also seeking out, particularly a vintage pair, but these Gucci heels have me in a chokehold. I am also currently in the midst of rebuilding my summer wardrobe, where I have recently acquired this Skims dress that is a new favourite, as well as splurging on a new Jacquemus t-shirt. And yes, I did get a new pair of sneakers too…adidas Gazelles.
