The ethereal art that is Pirelli Calendar is back for 2026, and this time it's shaped by the distinct imagination of photographer Sølve Sundsbø. For this edition, Sundsbø turned to the natural elements as his guiding force, interpreting earth, water, air and fire through a blend of landscape, performance and cutting-edge technology – and, of course, some of our favourite female faces.
The result is a calendar that feels almost sculptural, with each image not just documenting the natural world, but interrogating our place within it. Below, meet the faces bringing the 2026 Pirelli Calendar to life.

Who appears in the 2026 calendar?
This year’s casting reflects the intersection of fashion, film, art and sport. Sundsbø photographed Tilda Swinton, Gwendoline Christie, Irina Shayk, FKA Twigs, Venus Williams, Eva Herzigová, Susie Cave, Adria Arjona, Du Juan, Luisa Ranieri, and Isabella Rossellini, each placed in an elemental world that seems to shift around them.

What actually is the Pirelli Calendar?
First released in 1964, the Pirelli Calendar has become one of fashion’s most closely watched and hotly-anticipated annual releases. Yes, it began as a marketing campaign by Italian tire company, Pirelli, but it has evolved to exist outside the commercial calendar space, instead using its platform to examine shifting ideas of beauty, culture and representation. It's also, historically, been hard to get your hands on, with the Pirelli calendar distributed in strictly limited numbers.
Photographers like Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon and Annie Leibovitz have all leant their creative vision to the calendar, and famous faces like Alex Consani, Hunter Schafer, Simone Ashley, and Jodie Turner-Smith have appeared on the pages. In recent decades, Pirelli has embraced storytelling that engages with contemporary social conversations, making each edition feel more like a cultural document than a simple collection of images.
