On the road with Camilla Freeman-Topper

When you’re a leading Australian designer constant travel comes with the territory. For Camilla Freeman-Topper, being prepared is key. From the Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Ladies Lunch, Freeman-Topper lets us in her on travel and beauty routine.

I can’t travel without ...
My headphones for music, my portable phone charger, paw paw cream and a simple humidifier mask to keep out the bacteria on the aeroplane.

My top five things to take with me anywhere are …
My kids, husband, my go to serum's and especially my mist spray.

My travel beauty routine consists of …
I like to double cleanse before a flight and I will always make an appointment for an anti-inflammatory light with Melanie Grant to get my collagen working while I'm in the air. I consistently reapply the Sisley Black Rose Cream mask and make sure to keep my fluids up as much as possible, drinking upwards of four to five litres when flying long haul.

The best song to sing in the car is …
Max Richter's Four Seasons, especially as we come into autumn, the perfect music for this time of year.

My favourite road-trips are to …
The ride home to see my family after a long day at work. Plus travelling to the country with the family when I am able to escape the city from the office, we do that as much as we can throughout the year.

My style icon is …
My beautiful and chic grandmother has always and will forever be my style icon and inspiration.

My biggest indulgence is …
A nice invigorating walk from home to Bondi with my husband after work when the kids are down, going for a foot massage and then onto dinner for a quick date night, just the two of us - heaven.

The best advice I’ve received is …
When someone says no, find another way to make it happen.
