Featuring medicine mushrooms and reishi, these brownies are diary, refined sugar, soy and gluten free. Best enjoyed straight out of the oven.

Healthy Chocolate and Hazlenut Brownies

Ingredients
2 tablespoons ground Flaxmeal + 6 tablespoons water (mix and set aside)
½ cup Hazelnut Meal
½ cup Gluten Free Flour
½ cup Cacao Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Superfeast Reishi
1-2 teaspoons Superfeast Mason’s Mushrooms
½ cup Coconut Oil melted
½ cup Coconut Sugar
¼ cup Maple Syrup
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
¼ cup chopped Hazelnuts
¼ cup chopped Dark Chocolate

Method

Preheat oven to 180C. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.

Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

Gently fold dry mix into the wet until well combined

Spread into a lined 8x8 inch tin and top with chopped hazelnuts and chocolate.

Bake for 20 minutes, then cool for 15 minutes before cutting.
