La dolce vita: Pip Edwards on how to live your best life

The best in skincare and workouts, and the fragrance she can’t live without. P.E. Nation founder, Pip Edwards, lets us in on her beauty and health routine.

My morning beauty routine is ...
I always start with Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum (yes, in the morning too!). Once the serum has soaked in, I layer rosehip oil and the Kora Organics Noni Glow Face oil all over my face.

My night beauty routine is …
My first step is applying Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronised Recovery complex II, a serum with a potent blend of ingredients that encourage and activate my skin cell renewal overnight while I sleep. I then apply my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix serum which intensely nourishes, repairs and hydrates my eyes for a full 24 hours.

After washing my face, my first step is applying Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum – my skin just drinks it in and I always wake up so hydrated after using it. I love that it’s full of ingredients that help repair everything your skin is exposed to during the day – sun, pollution, blue light (from our phones), etc. After this, I apply the Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix serum under my eyes. I use the applicator wand to massage away any puffiness while applying.

My favourite products are …
Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, Le Labo Santal 33 perfume, Paw Paw ointment (perfect as a lip balm but I also put it under my eyes and on my cheekbones for extra gloss and shine).

My favourite form of exercise is …
Fluidform Pilates two to three times a week. This is my non-negotiable. I’m so lucky that my instructor is also a great friend, life coach and awesome sounding board for the noise in my head. I really do get the full service.

Also, my sauna and swim routine that usually happens at Bondi Icebergs Club / Pool. Fifteen minute sauna followed by two laps of the pool, repeated twice, is the ideal routine and I like to do this two or three times a week.

When my body needs to recover I …
Visit Venustus for more healing and lymphatic massages – I see Jeanie to get an energy hit and lose myself in the four hand massage.

I love to go to Ingrid Seaburn for needling, and vitamin infusions and micro-current treatments every five or six weeks.

I also visit Dr Jeremy at Ageless Clinics for a beauty boost treatment every few months, for skin hydration and healing.

For a good night’s sleep I …
Meditate – I did my course with Andrew Marsh in Bondi only a few months ago. I try to do it twice a day, 20 minutes when I wake up and 20 minutess before bed. I then wind down in bed with a cup of liquorice tea, this combination always ensures a rested night’s sleep.

My favourite detox is ...
Detoxologie in Bondi Junction where I get all my necessary health shots like Vitamin C and B12. The medical-grade colonics are perfect for when you are looking for a full body cleanse and detox.

My favourite retox is …
Icebergs Dining Room and Bar – best bloody mary’s and delicious menu.

The best health advice I’ve received is …
“Self-care is the only way.”

I now have fail-safe pick-me-ups: Pilates, walking, a massage, a facial, spiritual healing, mediating, sitting at the beach and connecting with the ocean, quality time with my son, pumping my favourite tunes, eating well. All these elements combined keep me healthy inside and out.

The product I can’t live without is …
Estée Lauder Powerfoil Face masks – I use these to instantly reset my skin after a busy day juggling work and fitness, or before a big event.

My beauty icon is ...
My beauty icon is Helena Christiansen - she has basically withstood the test of time and has barely aged, yet aged so naturally.

I change my look from day to night by …
I change my look from day to night with a much darker eye - at night I like to use a heavy eyeliner and enjoy a cat flick on my top lid. I even like to slick my hair line back with Olaplex and wax for a good wet look.

The best advice on beauty I’ve received is …
The best advice on beauty I’ve been given is to really nail a specific regime that works for your skin and stick to it. I now dedicate 15 minutes morning and night to cleansing, moisturising and nourishing my skin - the difference is real.
