Design, desire. If you’re in need of a new excuse to buy rosé, Romance Was Born and Handpicked Wines are here to help with the ultimate in limited edition collaborations. Born of a mutual appreciation for nonconformity, creativity, quality curation and, of course, the wine itself, the Handpicked x Romance Was Born Yarra Valley Rosé comes adorned with a label designed by artist Del Kathryn Barton – a longtime collaborator to Romance Was Born’s Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales. As for what’s inside, Pinot Noir juice and the skins of Marsanne grapes combine for a taste that’s delicately savoury, with berry and spice aromas and distinct texture. For the minds behind Romance Was Born, though, it’s all about the feeling it conjures: “fun and flirtation … much like our clothing we think it’s not too serious and it’s something for all occasions.”
