Take a look inside Gigi Hadid’s newly renovated Manhattan home

Model and soon to be mum, Gigi Hadid has revealed her new home renovation via Instagram. The model who has spent the majority of quarantine isolation at her family farm in Pennsylvania, has also spent the past year renovating her Manhattan apartment.

When most celebrities end up with some form of grey-beige interior, Hadid opted for colour, prints and eclectic furnishings throughout her home. “Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot,” Hadid explained on her instagram caption.

“I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favourite creatives who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy,” she explained of her style choices.  Her couch covers? Designed by Missoni. The chair in her vanity/ dressing room? A mustard yellow, velvet, vintage barber shop chair. The art on her walls - curated from close friend and Miami based artist Austyn Weiner and television director, come artist Eamon Harrington

Perhaps one of the most curious design choices the young model made was the use of coloured pasta to fill the glass doors of her kitchen cupboards. As you click through the post you see these are a creation of “plant-dyed pasta artist” Linda Miller Nicholson. Whilst Hadid credits all the creatives that helped bring her dreams to life. She also thanks her mother for aiding her in the journey, being “the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for.” And even for “call[ing] me crazy when required.”

Call us voyeuristic, it’s nothing new. So a peek inside a celebrities home is always something that will make us stop scrolling. Even better when they give us an insight into where they got the pieces that adorn their home from. Maybe Gigi’s style is for you. Maybe you hate pasta-come-decoration. Either way, take a look for yourself.
