For almost two decades Georgia O’Keeffe traversed the country taking annual trips from Lake George, New York, to New Mexico and back again. Forever inspired by her surroundings, O’Keeffe’s work reflects an ongoing exploration of time and place, landscape and lifestyle. The artist’s continual engagement with the two regions is the focus of a new exhibition showcasing O’Keefe’s own paintings and drawings alongside a selection of contemporary photographs. The exhibition is on show at Gerald Peters Gallery, NY, from October 28 through December 16.
