She’s the one: A look at the Georgia Alice Pre-Fall woman

She wears colours of a soft butter yellow and deep electric purple…

A new mood. Fresh, indulgent and to be worn on repeat. Georgia Alice has released her highly anticipated Pre-Fall 20 collection.

The Pre-Fall 20 offering consists of a smooth selection of velvet midi skirts, pure cashmere sweaters, 90s nostalgic satin dresses, figure hugging bodices, artful cotton shirts and more. Shape and form is accompanied by a rich colour palette consisting of warm brown, sleek taupe, pearly stone, powder blue, butter yellow, electric purple and neutral black and white.

Of the new collection and releasing in a time of uncertainty and global unrest, Georgia Currie, head designer shared some words, “It is a strange and somewhat uncomfortable time to release a new collection, however as a team we worked hard to pull this together. We hope it brings you as much joy, as it has us. Pre-Fall 20 is the Culmination of 8 years of GEORGIA ALICE, and it is perhaps the last of its kind... We have evolved and will continue to evolve...”

Homegrown and forever nurturing locally. 90% of the Pre-Fall 20 collection was made in Currie’s local of Aotearoa, New Zealand along with the 100% pure cashmere pieces made in Mongolia.

To celebrate and coincide with the new release, a special shoot by incredible talents was created. Photographer Hannah Scott-Stevenson along with stylist Bridie Gilbert shot model Suzi Leenaars in an intimate portrait series showcasing the wonderful curation of pieces in a dreamlike wonder.

A noteworthy cause, for each sale made via the Georgia Alice website during July, the brand will be gifting a Safe Night at the Aotearoa New Zealand Women's Refuge. An important sale during the tough times of lockdown and job insecurity that many have had to endure due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Pre-Fall 20 collection is available from retailers worldwide and the Georgia Alice website.
