Move your body. The Australian Ballet’s new, electric performance, Faster, showcases the sheer athleticism of ballet dancers with a triple bill from three of the country’s top contemporary choreographers. Inspired by the Olympic motto: ‘Higher, Faster, Stronger’, the titular piece chronicles the highs and lows of elite athletes, choreographed by David Bintley with a score from Matthew Hindson. Faster is followed by Infra, choreographed by Wayne McGregor, and Squander and Glory, a world premiere from Tim Harbour, with set design from Sydney’s Kelvin Ho. Faster is running at the Arts Centre Melbourne from March 17 – 27, before moving on to the Sydney Opera House from April 7-27.
