Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl

Bad Bunny Super Bowl

It's official: after months of speculation, Bad Bunny has been locked in as the halftime performer at the 2026 Super Bowl.

Rumours have been swirling in recent weeks about which singer would be afforded the top spot, with names like Adele, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber being thrown into the mix. Ultimately, however, the cards have fallen in the 31-year-old Puerto Rican musician's favour. It feels like a fitting time for Benito to take to the stage: he recently wrapped his record-breaking Puerto Rico residency, and is currently touring the world on the Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour – which will come to Australia for a one-night-only performance later next year(on 28 February, to be exact).

Here's what you need to know to make sure you're ready to watch Bad Bunny perform at the 2026 Super Bowl.

When is the 2026 Super Bowl?

The match in question is slated for Sunday, 8 February, 2026. For those of us playing along in Australia, that will be Monday, 9 February, 2026.

Where is the Super Bowl held?

It's the 60th Super Bowl, and will be hosted at the San Francisco 49ers' home ground, Levi's Stadium, which is located in Santa Clara, California.

Who has performed at the Super Bowl before?

In 2025, Kendrick Lamar made headlines as the official Super Bowl performer, bringing basically the entire world into his long0running feud with Drake, with a rendition of 'Not Like Us'. And the year before, Rihanna sent us into meltdown when she chose the halftime slot to announce her second pregnancy.
