My breakthrough career moment was …
Moving to New York to reach bigger dreams in 2008 while working up a zillion plus flyer miles on Qantas ’til today and also owning a Green card.

The top 5 most useful products backstage / on set are …
My various different sizes of Mason Pearson cushion brushes
L’Oreal Normal Hold hairspray
Hat Elastic and needle for threading thick hair away to get a hair shape that’s tighter-to-the-head
My Dyson hairdryer of course (the diffuser is the ultimate)
I can never have enough matte bobby pins in different colours.

The product(s) most worth the investment are …
My round YS Park brushes
Oribe Dry Texturizing spray – it’s an institution and easy to tell why
David Mallett Volume Powder – this super fine powder is a genius invention

My biggest beauty trick / tip is …
After a big night out spritz your face with Organic Rosewater and let it soak in. Give your roots a once-over with a dry shampoo to get some “oomph” back into you then scrape back into a casual low cool ponytail. Lastly ... and the best advice yet, wear a crisp white t-shirt or shirt as this brightens up your complexion and appears more clear because of the reflection of having white on.

My favorite career memory/ highlight is …
Working with photographers Inez and Vinoodh in New York on a GAP campaign ... Next level.

My advice to people getting started in the industry is …
Be humble. Be kind. And don’t gossip.
