If you were wondering why so many sale emails have turned up in your inbox this morning, it's because today marks the first day of Afterpay's twice yearly sale event - Afterpay Day.
This year's August iteration of the sale starts today from 7am and will run for 89 hours wrapping up at midnight on Sunday August 22. There's also a few new features this time round. Some brands will be offering exclusive Afterpay Day product drops, and some others will have unique AR shopping experiences - think brands like Dyson and Sephora. You'll be able to view products in augmented reality before you buy.
