What’s on across Australia this December

December is arguably the best month of the year. Summer is here, the festive calendar is ramping up, and out-of-office replies begin to trickle in.

Across the country, year-end festivals, twilight markets, pop-up galleries and open-air performances take over parks, rooftops and coastal venues. Everything feels brighter, warmer, and a little bit more fun.

Whether you’re craving culture before the year winds down, planning nights that spill into warm mornings, or simply looking for one last dose of inspiration before 2025 closes out, December has no shortage of things to do. Below, we’ve rounded up everything happening across Australia this month.
