Due Torri Hotel, Verona

Post fashion week in Milan I caught the train to Verona and stayed at the Due Torri Hotel for a pre-Paris escape.

Stay …
Part of the Leading Hotels of the World group and set right in the heart of the picturesque city, Due Torri is the perfect base from which to explore Verona’s cobbled streets, visit the Juliet balcony and indulge in Panettone.

See …
The Giusti Garden. This 16th century garden was once a popular stop on the Grand Tour and was visited by Goethe and Mozart. Beautiful maze hedges and views over Verona. Also be sure to pop into Santa Anastasia, a church with stunning frescos right next to Due Torri Hotel.

Taste …
I had two meal experiences in Verona. One was red wine and Tartuflanghe truffle chips while working on emails in my room. The other was at Parma a Tavola which had the best homemade pasta. They only serve a few dishes until the fresh pasta runs out. Both meals were equally amazing.

Take …
Loungewear for relaxing in the luxurious hotel room and indulging in the pink marble bathroom. Comfortable shoes for walking the streets and something for evening drinks. Indulge in rose scented products for your own Romeo and Juliet moment.
