Part espresso joint, part restaurant and part aperitivo bar – the team behind Bacco Osteria e Espresso are ensuring their Angel Place diners want for nothing. The premise is simple – a place you can meet, eat and drink at any time of the day or night – the espresso bar opens from 7am, serving up an array of pastries, pizza by the slice and house-baked bread, with the restaurant starting service from midday. Think lamb tartare with anchovy paste and homemade pastas like pistachio and pecorino gnocchi and bucatini with pippies and nduja, accompanied by a 70-strong wine list, classic cocktail line up and selection of after-dinner aperitivos.
