Harry Collett is riding dragons and raising our blood pressure

If you're reeling from watching House of the Dragon season three, episode one, you've come to the right place. We're still digesting it and, frankly, mourning. Because over the years, we've developed quite a soft spot for Harry Collett (and yes, his character Jace, too).

While all good things must come to an end, for Collett, things are only just beginning. At just 22-yearsold, he's already worked across almost every acting medium imaginable — feature films, television series, theatre, video games, and music videos. That's right, music videos. I bet you didn't realise our Targaryen prince appeared in Michael Bublé's Baby, It's Cold Outside music video alongside Idina Menzel.

There's much more to uncover about Harry Collett. So, we thought we'd acquaint – or reacquaint – you with him. Because while we may not be seeing quite as much of him on one particular show anymore, this is only the beginning for him.

He's a dragon rider

Yes, we all know Collett best for his role as Jacaerys Velaryon in HBO's House of the Dragon (HOTD). A prominent recurring character throughout the series so far, Jace has not only fought to reclaim his mother's rightful throne but has also won over our hearts in the process.

If you're unfamiliar, HOTD is the prequel adaptation to Game of Thrones, based on George R. R. Martin's bestselling book Fire & Blood. Cast in 2022, Collett's time portraying the lovable yet fierce Jace sadly – spoiler warning – came to an end in the first episode of season three.

He's a Capricorn

Collett was born in 17 January 2004, meaning he is, indeed, a Capricorn (22 December - 19 January).

He's a London boy

Collett  was born and bred in Havering, London. This is also where he took up drama, landing his first role in the West End production of Billy Elliot, playing a small boy. Then, in 2014 he made his on-screen debut in the BBC medical drama Casualty, and that same year appeared in Buble's music video. His first feature film was as Tommy Stubbins in DoLittle along side Robert Downey Jr.

But it wasn't until he landed a part in HOTD that his acting career really took off. Speaking to V Magazine, Collett said, "I had no idea what I was auditioning for. My character was called Jack for Untitled HBO Series". If only he could see where he ended up...

You can also listen to his music

What's better than seeing him on our screens? Hearing him through our headphones. That's right – Collett isn't just an actor, he's also an artist and DJ.

His music career began around the same time as HOTD, and he's now a rising star in the UK House scene, having since toured with MK around the UK. He even Dj'd at the premiere of HOTD season three.

What's next for him?

Thankfully this won't be the last we see of Collett on our screens. He will be starring in Easy, which is set to come out later in 2026 according to Deadline.

It's a coming-of-age adaptation story, based off Tammara Webber's 2013, which also stars Lizzy Greene. The story follows Jacqueline Wallace (Greene), a college student who's life gets thrown off course after her long-term boyfriend breaks up with her. But she soon meets — and, you guessed it, grows close to – the mysterious Lucas (Collett).

The film is in post-production, which means we'll be able to see Collett on the big screen very soon.
