Awards season isn’t technically here yet, but if there’s one ceremony that signals its arrival, it’s the Emmys. Yes, it's already that time of year and the Primetime Emmy Awards are back today, bringing together the biggest names in television for an evening of red carpet arrivals and acceptance speeches.
This year, The Pitt leads the nominations with 25 nods (unsurprisingly, if you ask me), but that doesn't mean there isn't room for a few surprises to play out.
If you’re watching from Australia, however, there is one small complication: the ceremony takes place on the other side of the world. Here’s everything you need to know about when and where to watch the 2026 Emmys from Australia.

The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday, September 14 at 8pm ET. For Australian viewers (on the east coast), that means the ceremony begins at 10am AEST on Tuesday, September 15.
