Where to watch the 2026 AFL Grand Final this weekend

Whether you're a sports fan or not, the AFL grand final is likely in your calendar. And this year's match is arguably more exciting, or at least unexpected, than usual. Despite being a fairly Melbourne-centric sport this year’s final will see Brisbane and Fremantle go head-to-head, meaning the usual Victorian allegiances are off the table.

If that doesn't get you excited, then perhaps this year's pre-game entertainment will. Aussie icon Kylie Minogue is back performing on home shores – at the MCG, to be specific – which feels like a very good excuse to tune in.

Whichever camp you fall into, we tend to think the grand final is best enjoyed somewhere with a little bit of atmosphere, usually with some good food and drink not too far away. Luckily, venues across Australia seem to agree, and plenty of them will be dedicating Saturday afternoon to streaming the game live. So if you're looking to make a day out of it, we’ve got the best places around Australia to watch the 2026 AFL Grand Final this weekend.

What time is Kylie Minogue performing?

Let's address the most important things first. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm AEST, and Kylie is scheduled to take to the stage between 1:30pm and 1:45pm.
