YTG – here’s when to watch the Matildas’ matches during the AFC Asian Cup 2026

Matildas asian cup 2026

It's an exciting moment for soccer and football fans – the AFC Women's Asian Cup officially starts on 1 March, and Australia is the host. It means we're about to have access to world class football on home soil; the likes of which we haven't seen since the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. Australia's national team, the Matildas have reassembled, bringing home star players like Ellie Carpenter, Sam Kerr, Hayley Raso, Caitlin Foord, Alanna Kennedy and Steph Catley. The team is ready to hopefully take home a trophy.

Are you looking to tune into the Matilda's key matches? Paramount+ will be streaming the entire competition live, but if you're just looking to watch the Matildas, those matches will be live on Channel 10 too. Or perhaps you're looking to grab tickets? There are some still available on Ticketmaster if you're quick!

Below, we've put together a list of all the confirmed match times, locations and dates for the Matildas group stage matches in the Asian Cup. Plus, added in a bit of educated guess work about when and where they could play next.

When are the next Matildas' confirmed matches?

Quarter final  – Australia v Either China or Korea DPR – Friday 13 March at Perth Rectangular Stadium (Perth) 6:00pm AWST (9pm AEDT) - watch on Channel 10 or Paramount+

Potential Matildas matches: semi finals and final predictions

Understanding when the next games will be requires some guesswork and some manifestation. If we assume (and hope!) that the Matildas end up winning their quarter final, the next match will be:

Tuesday, 17 March at Perth Stadium (Perth) 6:00pm AWST (9pm AEDT) - watch on Channel 10 or Paramount+

If they win that game, the next will be the final:

Saturday 21 March, at Stadium Australia (Sydney) 8:00pm AEDT - watch on Channel 10 or Paramount+

The group stage matches have finished, but they were:

Australia v Philippines – Sunday, 1 March at Perth Stadium 5:00pm AWST - watch on Channel 10 or Paramount+

Australia v Iran – Thursday, 5 March at Gold Coast Stadium 7:00pm AEST - watch on Channel 10 or Paramount+

Australia v South Korea – Sunday, 8 March at Stadium Australia (Sydney) 8:00pm AEDT - watch on Channel 10 or Paramount+
