Beauty / IN THE BAG

What’s the one beauty product models swear by?

We're big fans of our Beauty Bag series, as it provides the opportunity to glimpse into the beauty routines, rituals and mantras of our industry favourites. And regardless of who we're talking to, there are always a few products that crop up in every discussion regarding beauty must-haves. Bioderma’s Micellar Water is one, Lucas’ Paw Paw ointment another, and who could forget the widespread fascination with SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic serum?

But today it’s Weleda’s Skin Food. The rich cream, comprised of beeswax, sunflower seed oil and lanolin, provides intense hydration for both face and body and is a favourite for many of our RUSSH beauty muses.

Bella Thomas

For Bella Thomas's nighttime routine: “At the moment I am using the Chanel Le Lift Smoothing and Firming serum, Weleda Skin food and Egyptian Magic on my lips and areas that need a little love.”

Julia Van Os

For travel and long plane flights Julia takes the moisturiser as carry-on: “Weleda Skin Food always in my bag, especially when I fly.”

Jacquelyn Jablonski

Jacquelyn's travel must-have: “Before take-off and landing I use Bioderma to clean my face, spray Avène water spray, and recently I’ve been using Weleda Skin Food as my moisturiser because it is thick for the dry plane.”

Georgia Fowler

Georgia Fowler's never-fail product: “[Weleda] Skin Food is another amazing all natural cream, it is very thick and can be used on feet, elbows and any other very dry spots, but I love it on my face before a long haul as I feel it creates a kind of barrier locking in the moisture.”

Jess PW

And for Jess PW it sits proudly in her top five products: "Weleda Skin Food moisturiser, Lucas’ Papaw ointment, Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible oil, Goldwell Dualsenses Rich Repair 60 Second treatment, Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing body lotion."
