Furniture and homewares brand Eva is opening the doors to its first Sydney showroom, Surry Hills House. To celebrate opening weekend (28th and 29th June), visitors will be treated to free coffee and pastries from Pablo & Rusty’s and Bourke Street Bakery, plus complimentary Eva totes and notebooks for the first guests through the door (while stocks last).

From 27 June until 3 August,  P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants are teaming up with wine tech innovators Enomatic for a month-long tasting series pouring ultra rare wines by the glass. Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park is celebrating the launch of its new Grab & Go Station with a giveaway of 500 honey-soaked Cronuts on Thursday 26 June, from 8am.

South Eveleigh’s Loco Markets are running from Thursday 19 June to Sunday 27 July. Expect a rotating lineup of handmade goods, design-led retail, food and drink, and live entertainment with a new theme and experience each week.

On Saturday June 21Noon is hosting Rise n’ Shine, a Saturday morning session featuring vinyl DJ Johnny the Ladd spinning from 8am to 1pm, plus breakfast, coffee, and drinks by ALTR. No bookings required.

On 22 June, two of Love Tilly Group’s finest – Fabbrica Bread Shop’s Head Baker Aniruddha Bhosekar and Letra House’s Sous Chef Peter Fiander – are joining forces under the moniker ‘Les Garçons’ for a one-day-only pop-up lunch at Letra House, serving a seven-course French bistro-style set menu. Wunderlich Lane has unveiled its winter solstice festival, NightShift, running from June 16 - 22. Across seven nights, the Redfern precinct’s restaurants, bars, retailers and wellness spaces will ignite with immersive installations, unexpected chef collaborations, roving performances and even a noodle-fuelled rave. To commemorate Vivid, Maybe Sammy is hosting an exclusive takeover at W Sydney's 29/30 Rooftop Bar. from 7pm-9:30pm. On 5 June, channel the dreamlike energy of the festival as you sip on the bespoke Maybe Sammy x 29/30 ‘Monsoon Mirage cocktail’, featuring bourbon, vermouth and peach wine  layered with Southeast Asian flavours, and served over ice in a custom LED box.

On 3 June, Franca Brasserie is introducing a Moreton Bay Bug Roll to its menu. Served with tabasco sauce and potato chips, and with the optional addition of caviar, the dish is available to just 10 guests per day, between 5 and 6pm. For the first week only, the roll will be served with 10g of complimentary Oscietra Caviar.

From Friday 23 May to Saturday 14 June, Aria will be celebrating Vivid with a selection of curated culinary and beverage experiences overlooking the illuminated heart of Sydney.

Bangarra Dance Theatre kicks off the national tour of Illume on June 4, at the Sydney Opera House. The performance is a new work between Mirning choreographer and Bangarra artistic director, Frances Rings, and Goolarrgon Bard visual artist, Darrell Sibosado, and will tour across Australia.

In celebration of Smirnoff launching two new bold drops, Lemon Freeze and Espresso Fire, Sydneysiders are invited to experience the exclusive Smirnoff Freeze and Fire Igloos. This limited-time pop-up will be running at Carriageworks on weekends from 6 June to 14 June. More details here.

Mary’s VX North Sydney is running a limited-time breakfast pop up from 16 - 22 June. Expect breakfast sandwiches, hotcakes, breakfast burgers and a daily $5 coffee + donut dealwith Grumpy Donutsand Coffee Supreme. Even better, the first 50 coffee + donut combos each weekday are free.

Huge Moves 10 will take over all three levels of The International on June 7, for an immersive event that will unfold across The Wine Bar and sundrenched Plaza, The Grill, and Panorama Bar. Expect a special menu, plus 150+ wines available to taste.

Baker Bleu Cremorne is collaborating with Hunted + Gathered for a winter special: a rich hot chocolate with house-made marshmallow and a winter twist on the cult Iced Tiramisu Latte. The special is available from June 6.

Tickets are now on sale for FUTURE VISION – Australia’s premier global television exchange. Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd, plus Sally Wainwright (Happy Valley) and Soo Hugh (Pachinko) are all included on the lineup, which runs from July 14–16 at ACMI. Tickets are available here.

Australia’s first female Sake Samurai, Yukino Ochiai is hosting a one-night-only sake dinner at Yakimono on June 2. She will guide guests through a lineup of premium Japanese pours, plus a menu from Executive Chef Daniel Wilson. Secure your booking here.

Festa Italiana is heading to the Howard Smith Wharves over two weekends: May 19 to June 1, and June 5 to June 8.

The annual LEAF festival — Brisbane's largest sustainability event — will return to Griffith University's Logan Campus on June 1. More information about this free event is available here.

To celebrate National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week 2025, Raine Square will present the return of Maar Koodjal - seven immersive weeks of First Nations art and cultural experiences, running until 13 July. The event will unite local artists, musicians, performers and cultural leaders for a program of  live music and dance, storytelling, visual art, fashion showcases, workshops and live radio broadcasts.
