Watch … I started re-watching The Bear in preparation for season four coming out. But most importantly I watched Materialists by Celine Song. I find it interesting how people are so divided by this movie, but I loved it. It helped that the film cast people that were pretty easy on the eyes too. And as a horror fanatic I am dying to see Bring her Back! I also watched Oh, Canada — quite sad, but really raw. The cinematography was by far my favourite thing in that movie.
Listen … I have been listening to a bit of Haim, Japanese Breakfast, Lorde and Fleetwood Mac.
Read … This might count as listening too, but I got Audible and have been listening/reading Coco Mellors Blue Sisters. One of my favourite authors. And physically, I have been reading a bit of Clarise Lispector Agua Viva.

Watch … After bingeing my way through Your Friends and Neighbours, I have a newfound obsession with Jon Hamm, so I’ve started watching Mad Men. I know I’m 10 years late to the party, but it’s so good.
Listen … I love Addison Rae’s new album and am devastated I missed out on tickets. And while not a new addition to my weekly podcast rotation, I am just as obsessed with Wednesdays, which is hosted by Sophie Habboo and Melissa Tattam. They’re so funny.
Read … I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t read much this month. I did, however, love Sam’s take on the modern rom-com. I need to see Materialists.

Watch … I haven’t seen Succession (don’t hate me), so I’ve started that. Mr. Darcy, what are you doing here? I’ve also been into YouTube recently which takes me back to 2016. What a time to be alive that was. Can we go back there, even for a week pls? Anyway… I discovered Brad Evans on my YouTube “for you” page and have enjoyed reliving the experience of watching the 00’s pop culture film greats for the first time (legally blonde, twilight, etc.).
Listen … YUNGBLUD’s new album, Idols. Also Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell on vinyl.
Read … The Complete Short Stories Of Ernest Hemingway – currently, The Snows of Kilimanjaro.

Watch … Warfare, Overcompensating, The White Lotus (very late to the game, sorry), Almost Famous (my annual rewatch).
Listen … Haim’s new album I Quit, and a few live acts at RISING in Melbourne: Suki Waterhouse, DIIV, Jess Pratt.
Read … I just finished The Friday Afternoon Club by Griffin Dunne, and have started Bonjour Tristesse (which I received as part of my bibliotherapy session).

Watch … I’ve been back into watching Last Week Tonight religiously. It’s a lighter way to stay across everything that’s going on in the world. I’ve also watched Mountainhead and also Echo Valley. I thought they were both very clever for different reasons.
Listen … I’ve had the new Sleep Token album on repeat. It’s fantastic. I’ve also been listening to my old Kisschasy catalogue. They did an anniversary tour for one of their albums recently, and after that gig, I’ve been diving head first into my old favourites.
Read … Amongst pressure from my friends, I’ve finally started the Throne of Glass series. I also did a comfort binge read of an old self-published, Live-Journal-era Cassie Clare story – before she was Cassandra Clare, author of the Mortal Instruments.
