There are few places where cinema and fashion collide quite like Venice. Each year, at the tail-end of European summer, creative minds converge on the Lido for eleven days of cinema. But, of course, there’s more to the festival than what happens on screen. As the premieres begin, the red carpet unfurls, and attendees pull out all the stops, sartorially speaking.

This year marks the festival’s 83rd edition, with another line-up of highly anticipated films, big-name actors, emerging talent, and minutes-long standing ovations descending on the Italian city. We've been waiting with baited breath since the 2026 film slate was announced earlier this year, with highlights including Lance Oppenheim's Robert Pattinson-fronted Primetime, Danny Boyle's Ink, and Bunker, starring real-life couple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.

And while the films remain at its heart, the fashion is never far behind – with the red carpet offering its own spectacle of fresh-from-the-runway couture and archival fashion.
