Like many of New York’s best offerings, Tokyo Record Bar isn’t the easiest to locate, but once you’ve made your way down the staircase situated towards the back of Air’s Champagne Parlor in Greenwhich Village you’ll find a secret underground listening room that promises a night of quality vinyl, food, sake and cocktails. The night’s playlist, which could include anything from Dolly Parton to Bowie to Aaliyah, is created in real time by guests on vinyl and is paired with a seven-item Izakaya tasting.
