It's not a crossover we necessarily expected, but now that it's here, it sounds so right. Yep, Tame Impala has enlisted the musical talents of BLACKPINK's Jennie for a remix of his hit track, 'Dracula.' And it's set to be in our ears very soon. Here's what you need to know.
When does it drop?
Friday, February 6. Kevin Parker treated fans to a first listen via a 20-second clip of the remix, featuring some incredible vocals by Jennie.

Alongside the video, Parker simply wrote: "Surprise... Friday." For Australians, it's likely that this will actually be available to stream in the early hours of Saturday, February 7.
Parker has also since shared a link to pre-save the track on Spotify, or pre-add it on Apple Music.
Speculation has been rampant for a while
Perhaps the biggest clue that a collab was en route came via the official music video for Dracula on YouTube. Specifically, fans were quick to notice a significant change to the song's original lyrics, "My friends are saying 'shut up Kevin just get in the car'," replacing Parker's name with Jennie's. Of course, now that we've heard the sneak-peek, we know exactly which Jennie they were referring to.
And adding fuel to the rumour mill flame, Parker was photographed by fans wearing none other than Jennie's merch. returning the favour, Jennie took to Instagram with the caption, "feeling is bizaarre"... Yes, those are 'Dracula' lyrics.

Could a bigger collaboration be coming?
It's not clear yet whether the Dracula remix will stand on its own, or if it could be a nod towards something bigger between the two.
What we do know, however, is that Parker is currently deep in preparation for a global tour with his album, Deadbeat, kicking off in Europe on April 4, 2026. Perhaps Jennie will continue her solo era by joining Parker on stage somewhere along the way? We can certainly hope so.
