If you're a Sydney-sider, there's yet another reason to spend the entirety of summer outdoors. Sydney Summertime, a new concert series from the team behind some of Australia’s biggest music festivals, will arrive at Centennial Park in February and March 2027.
Here's what you need to know.
What is Sydney Summertime?
Unlike a typical festival weekend, Sydney Summertime is a series of standalone concerts, each built around a major headliner and a supporting lineup of Australian and international artists. So if you're not keen on the commitment of a multi-day festival, this might be for you.
The concerts will also come with plenty to do between sets, including food pop-ups from some of Sydney's leading restaurants, cellar doors, a dedicated cocktail bar and beer hall, and bars throughout the concert site.
When is Sydney Summertime 2027?
What we know is that the first Sydney Summertime series will take place at Centennial Park in late February and early March 2027.
Exact concert dates have not yet been announced, but will be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
Who is performing at Sydney Summertime?
Sadly this is another detail we're still waiting on. However, given the duo behind the series (Australian live music executives Jessica Ducrou and Elise Huntley) have previously worked on Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Homebake, Harvest Rock, Download Festival and Sydney City Limits, our expectations are high.

What about tickets?
Exact ticket prices are still to be announced, but Sydney Summertime will offer five different ticket experiences across a range of price points:
- General Admission
- Gold Circle (A premium standing area directly in front of the stage)
- The Grove (An exclusive garden with premium bars and food offerings, plus access to the Gold Circle)
- The Terrace viewing deck (A tiered, partially covered grandstand, with access to The Grove)
- The Suites (Private suites with premium views and personalised service. By application only)
