September’s new moon will bring you a burst of productive energy

The new moon of September arrives tomorrow on the eve Thursday 17 - and it's here to help you get organised.

September is already a charmed month. It's the start of spring and the height of Virgo season, which brings with it the earthy and focused energy we love about this particular sign. Good news, things are about to turn up a notch. This particular new moon falls in Virgo too, so we'll all get a double dose of this fantastically productive energy.

New moons are a time of new beginnings. A healthy reset, a time to peacefully let go of the past and welcome in new experiences and opportunities. Mixed with the double shot of Virgo vibes, this is the perfect time to get organised and set goals for yourself. It's likely you'll feel especially motivated to tick off your to-do list, clean house and set goals. Don't fight it, just embrace this spurt of inspiration and discipline.

You may feel more motivated to work out and eat healthy. Your household chores will feel like a breeze. And you may even feel an extra wind of inspiration to clear out your inbox. In order to make the most of this new moon, use this time to set yourself up for success. Particularly, try to use this energy to focus on your holistic health. This year has been a hard one, so setting some positive goals for your wellbeing will help you in the long run. Clear out your backlog of niggling life admin and move into the next chapter of the year unburdened.

This couldn't come at a better time. We moved into a period of Mars retrograde (not to be confused with Mercury retrograde) - which runs from September 9 until November 13.  It's a time that is characterised by conflict and frustration. So, this moment of fluidity, detail-oriented precision and motivation is a much need burst of inspiration to help you effectively manage the rest of Mars retrograde to come.

A few things to keep in mind. Virgo energy can inspire you to be analytical, but resist the urge to be too perfect and to nit pick. Since this is a time where conflict is at a high, it's important to balance the new detail-oriented energy you're feeling with respect. You'll always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
