Traditionally, the start of the year is reserved for setting intentions and manifesting for a positive 12 months ahead. But here at RUSSH, we believe in good karma year-round. In fact, November is actually a potent month for setting intentions that will carry into to the year ahead.
According to Echo, a professional Tarot reader at Tarotap, November 22 is one of the most powerful days in the year for manifestation:
“On November 22, we’ll be standing at a cosmic crossroads. We’ve just moved through the Scorpio season’s deep inner work and the New Moon’s reset, and now, Sagittarius’s energy opens the door to possibility. The universe is telling us to dream bigger. The combination of the recent New Moon energy still rippling through and Sagittarius's optimistic fire creates momentum that carries intention forward rather than letting it sit stagnant.”
Want to know how to make November your best month yet? Here are five ways to harness the potential of November 22.
How to manifest on November 22
1. The three-timeline tarot spread
In this method, Echo suggests pulling three tarot cards. The first symbolises where you are now, the second represents potential obstacles in your path, and the third is where you're heading in 2026. Think of this as a rough guide to where you're heading in the year ahead.
2. Write a letter from the future
While you might traditionally think of manifesting as simply writing a list, a letter might actually be a more powerful format. The biggest hint here is to date the letter December 2026, and describe the coming year as though it's already happened. Using past tense repositions your goals as achievable, instead of lofty.
3. The permission ritual
Want something simple but powerful? This 'permission' ritual might be just the thing. Light a candle and say (out loud) one thing you're permitting yourself to pursue in 2026. It could be something as simple as trying a new workout class, or as big as moving cities. The idea is that saying it out loud on this cosmically supported day helps break through any self-imposed limitations.
4. Anchor objects
Another one that doesn't require too much effort. In this ritual, you're required to choose a small object—for example, a piece of jewellery—and hold it while simultaneously visualising your strongest 2026 intention. Bonus points if you keep your chosen object visible throughout as the year goes on, for a constant reminder of your manifestation.
5. The release-before-receive practice
They say in order for good things to happen, you need to make space for them. This exercise does exactly that. Before you set any new intentions, write down one belief or pattern from 2025 that might be holding you back, and that needs to stay behind in 2026. Then, burn or bury the paper, creating space for what's coming.
