January always arrives with the confidence of a fresh notebook and the reality of a bank app notification. Somewhere between the two, the RUSSH editors have been building our wishlists. The pieces we’re saving, debating, and circling back to as the year kicks off.
From white tanks to summer dresses and travel bags, these are the items currently taking up the tabs in our Safari app.

My wishlist this month has shamelessly been inspired by the rest of the team and their past wishlists. Jaime had this top in her New Year’s Eve outfit inspo and I fell in love with it. The colour is incredible. I also saw this Jan Logan bracelet in Stacey’s last minute Christmas gifts and now I want it for myself.
I’m still looking for a pair of white linen or cotton pants. I thought I’d found the right pair at Universal Store, but there was an error and they didn’t send them. While my refund processes, I’m looking at this Elce Swim pair instead, and I’m still hunting through the pairs on THE ICONIC too.
I love this baby tee from Cou Cou Intimates, I think we’ve all seen it on Dua Lipa by now and I think I’m going to pull the trigger and buy it. Also on my list is a new pair of black sandals that I can walk long distances in. The pairs I’m currently investigating are this Mollini strappy pair, another Mollini pair, these ones from Frankie4 and a Country Road strappy pair. I love these Miu Miu sunglasses, so they’re on my list too.
Finally, I will be stocking up on Pilates socks as my current ones are a bit worn. I love this ballet-inspired pair.

It’s the new year, which means I am starting my shopping list off with a major wishlist items – because wants are needs too, right?
I spotted this Paco Rabanne bag on my colleague Sophia’s New Year’s Eve dressing list, and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. I am trying to find a way to work it into my ‘bridal era’ (clearly, an unconventional one), but might just treat myself to it anyway.
Onto more practical (and realistic) items, I want to prioritise doing a bit of a staple refresh – from lingerie, to sleepwear, and fresh white tanks. I always seem to neglect these items in favour of more exciting pieces (if that wasn’t clear by the Paco bag already). Sheet Society have just launched a new line of lounge/sleepwear, and this tank and matching stripe shorts moment is adorable.
I’ve also been waiting to buy some pieces from Else Lingerie – every product is handmade by female artisans in the brand’s Istanbul atelier and the lace looks so buttery. I love this cherry colour and definitely plan to wear the bra under a sheer shirt too. So versatile.
And finally, I live in COS men’s t-shirts, and I spotted this pack of three in all my favourite colours. An easy and totally justifiable purchase that I know I will wear.

It would be an understatement to say there’s a few things on my shopping list this month. First and foremost, I’m loving this Vivienne Westwood corset top which is (very helpfully) on sale at the moment. It would go perfectly with these cropped brown pants from Maggie Marilyn, which are also very high on my list.
It goes without saying that Matteau nails easy summer dressing, and this gathered white dress is beautiful. Christopher Esber is another favourite of mine for the many (many) summer events in my calendar this month. I’m truly obsessed with the colours of this jersey tee and skirt set — and if you re-wear them separately, it’s like you’re getting two bonus outfits.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a shopping list of mine if I wasn’t eyeing off yet another impeccable new arrival from Faithfull, and this month two have made my list: This chocolate brown set, and this butter yellow one piece. No notes.
If you know me, you know I rarely, if ever, buy heels, so this one is a big deal. But I love the off-white colour of these ones by Nelson Made — bonus points, the heel is tiny (tall girls, IYKYK). And lastly, I tried on these crocheted flats last month and have regretted not buy-in them ever since, so I think they’ll (finally) be coming home with me.

With my shopping addiction in full swing, I thought why not let it grow just in time for the tail-end holiday season. In perfect timing, my wallet recently broke, so a new one is actually more of a need than a want. I really like Yu Mei’s Seth Cardholder wallet in brown — it would match my handbag. I also think it’s quite classy to have a simple wallet.
I'm currently in my content era and am thinking of investing in a Polaroid Flip camera. And, like most people, I am a big admirer of Paloma Wool, and they have such a gorgeous collection at the moment. The Mopit Halter Top has been one on my list for a while. And for some heels, I love Bec + Bridge’s suede thong heels. I'm a big fan of suedes so these are right up my alley.

I have a wedding to go at the end of January which is a three-day event, so I’m in need of several outfit variations. Most importantly, the wedding itself is black tie. There’s an arrival barbecue the night before, and a recovery pool party the following day. I’m kind of sorted for day one and three, so currently I’m hyper-fixated on the wedding outfit and as I’m more a sneakers-with-everything kind of girl, it’s time for me to up the ante.
I know I’d like a simple dress, and this Toteme dress seems perfect and with a statement earring and these Jennifer Behr earrings will add sparkle to the celebration. These minimalist Acne Studios kitten heels are also great. I love this little Staud dress with a mule like these Manolo Blahnik’s. And as we'll be in the height of summer, this Beare Park gown would be perfect to accompany a summer tan.

For me, January is still very much the season of hospitality, friends and chosen family so truthfully most of my money goes on food to make grazing boards or dinners for loved ones. That said, host and home must look good. I really have got to commit to getting myself the Beare Park High Rise Long Jean, beloved by tall girls — they're a beautiful staple to dress up or down. An honourable mention also goes to the BP Iris gown which I still very much pine for, but my house isn’t really a black tie affair. However, heels are home attire and these Loewe crocodile rocks are beautiful.
I’m trying to take my hair and skin a little more seriously other than just SPF50, which is non-negotiable. I’d love to try the Augustinus Bader Rich Renewal Trio and I’m trying less heavy foundation on top. I've been loving the Hourglass Illusion Luminous Glow Foundation and returning to my trusted Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser. As for my hair, I’ve been trying the Kerastase Nutrative 8HR Night Hair Serum and loving it. Hydration while I sleep? Yes please, I love multitasking.

My January wishlist is very much guided by travel. With a Euro Winter trip booked for February, I’m curating pieces that are worthy of precious suitcase space. At the top of my list is a long overdue travel bag refresh. The Rimowa silver check-in has been lusted over for years while this Prada bag remains my ideal everyday carry on.
I’m always dressing for comfort when I travel. These Venroy denim jeans form the foundation of my travel uniform paired with this Oroton cashmere blend knit as well as this COS coat and footwear is all sorted, these Salomon sneakers are also at the top of my list. As for accessories, they are intentionally minimal with this Frankie baseball cap.
The finishing touches are the travel essentials. I refuse to leave home without my Apple Airpod Max’s and Aesop hand balm to combat dry cabin air as well as this chrome Frank Green water bottle to stay hydrated.

I can’t explain how obsessed I am with Fruity Booty at the moment. I want everything they’re dishing out, from leopard, lace, swim, and ready-to-wear.
With my birthday coming up, I’m wishlisting a few special pieces from Olivia Bond. I love the mini huggies, plus their iconic heart encrusted in diamonds. This asymmetric Beare Park minidress feels like the perfect party option, while Peter Thomas Roth eye patches are firmly on the list for the inevitable aftermath. Also loving this not-so-basic basic tank from Isabel Marant.
I own one pair of heels, so I'm looking to add a new pair to the rotation. These feel like a good start.
Finally, sitting at the very top of my wishlist: a trip to Paris. Apart from it being my favourite city, I really want to visit the Louise Carmen store to make a bespoke leather diary.
