Just in time for a Northern hemisphere winter, and a Southern hemisphere holiday, Copenhagen-based brand ROTATE have launched a sustainable loungewear collection, titled ROTATE Sunday, for all of your staying indoor needs.

As the brands most environmentally responsible collection yet, with each piece crafted from 100% recycled materials or certified organic cotton, the recycled polyester - used for leggings and tank tops - comes from recovered post-consumer PET plastic bottles, and nods to everyday streetwear.

The collection is comprised of 26 pieces, each a reflection of the brand's bold nature married with restraint and elevation for comfortable, everyday basics. ROTATE Sunday offers five colourways of cropped hoodies, tracksuits, t-shirts, leggings, and a cap, each in soft blues, bold reds, and hot pinks. The sweatshirts are adorned with college font logos for a classic 90s feel.

“We are so excited to introduce loungewear to the ROTATE brand through the Sunday line. It’s honestly all we want to wear at the moment, and we have been wanting to introduce loungewear for a while. Now felt like the right time to create a comfortable, effortless and, above all, responsible line that is no less fun than what you are used to from ROTATE." Say co-creative directors Thora Valdimarsdottir and Jeanette Madsen.  "We have carefully selected the colors and worked with the fits to create a range with the perfect oversized feel which you can dress up and down." They continue. "ROTATE is all about Saturday nights, so Sunday is for the day after – and for all those days working from home or days where comfort comes first. We are super proud that Sunday is our most responsible collection, made from 100% recycled or organic fabrics.”

It is exciting to see more brands responding to the state of the world in 2020, and following the arc of sustainability by pivoting their offerings with the climate crisis in mind. We're looking forward to couch time with ROTATE as much as we've looked forward to nights out with the brand.
