This competition is a Game of Chance. By entering the Poetiq Honesty: Young, Black & Gifted 2.0 competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of RUSSH Media Pty Ltd, Poetiq Honesty, The Vanguard and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on 31 July 2026 (AEST) and concludes on 23 August 2026 at 11:59pm AEST (“Competition Period”).
3.2 To enter the competition, entrants must complete the entry form on the competition page, including their full name, email address, postcode and contact number.
PRIZE
One (1) winner will receive four (4) tickets to Poetiq Honesty: Young, Black & Gifted 2.0, taking place at The Vanguard, Newtown on Saturday, 30 August 2026.
4.1 If for any reason the winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, the prize will not be redeemable for cash and will be forfeited.
4.2 The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
4.3 In the event that the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Any taxes (other than GST, if applicable) payable as a consequence of receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
4.4 Travel to and from the event, accommodation, meals and any other incidental expenses are not included in the prize.
HOW TO WIN
5.1 Each eligible entrant who enters the competition during the Competition Period and registers all required details in accordance with clause 3 will be entered into the prize draw. The draw will take place at RUSSH Media Pty Ltd, Suite 102, 19A Boundary Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010.
5.2 The winner may be announced on RUSSH.com. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within seven (7) days of the draw.
5.3 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.
COMMUNICATIONS
6.1 Entrants agree to receive separate communications from both RUSSH Media Pty Ltd and Poetiq Honesty. Entrant details will not be made available to any other parties. All marketing communications will include an unsubscribe option.
NO LIABILITY
7.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, war or acts of terrorism, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to applicable State legislation.
7.2 RUSSH Media Pty Ltd and its associated agencies and companies take no responsibility for prizes that are damaged, lost or unavailable.
7.3 RUSSH Media Pty Ltd and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including consequential loss) or claim arising:
during the prize draw;
from participation in the prize;
from attendance at the event;
due to late, lost or misdirected entries;
due to technical failures or circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
7.4 RUSSH Media Pty Ltd and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications failure, theft or destruction of entries, unauthorised access to or alteration of entries, and reserve the right to take any action available.
7.5 If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the Promoter’s control which affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to applicable State legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
