For the past month, Phoebe Bridgers has been moving through America like a cryptid. She has appeared in Roswell, New Mexico. She has handed fans fragments of what is rumoured to be her next album cover. She has debuted unreleased songs. She has refused to explain herself. And naturally, the internet has spent weeks trying to understand it all.
Now the wandering minstrel phase has reached its least intimate destination yet: New York City. In what may be the most Phoebe Bridgers sentence ever written, the singer has announced a surprise show at one of the world's biggest venues as part of a tour that has largely felt like a series of unconfirmed rumours. But if, like us, you're itching for tickets, this is exactly what you'll need to know...

Where is she playing?
Madison Square Garden. After a string of phone-free pop-up shows across small cities and college towns, Bridgers will take over Madison Square Garden this Thursday 4 June 2026.
How do I get tickets?
Tickets are being distributed through an lottery system, with fans able to register online for tickets until 11:59 pm on Monday 1 June 2026. Prices range from just $1 to $20, which is roughly the cost of a sad cocktail in Manhattan and significantly less than what many fans have paid for resale parking at arena shows.
All proceeds will benefit the Community Justice Exchange's Immigration Bond Freedom Fund, which helps secure the release of people held in immigration detention.

Is there still a new album coming?
Almost certainly. Officially, Bridgers has said very little. Unofficially, nearly everything she has done recently points in the direction of new music.
Fans have spent weeks dissecting clues from the pop-up shows, while photos have surfaced of Bridgers in the studio with Jack Antonoff, Alex G, Bo Burnham and even The 1975's Matty Healy (who is also well overdue to drop an album or two).
Given that the upcoming show has some house rules – namely "No cellphones, smart watches, smart glasses, cameras, or recording devices allowed. Yondr pouches will be provided." – we're thinking some new music might be debuted exclusively for the ears of attendees.
