Paris Fashion Week has arrived, which means we've arrived (metaphorically, anyway) in the French capital for one final round of shows, and street style looks featuring creative interpretations of what constitutes a weather-appropriate outfit.
And, as it happens, September's notoriously unpredictable weather is making things quite interesting so far. While the Paris Fashion Week spring summer 2027 schedule runs from September 28 until October 6, temperatures in the city have been averaging high 20s — not exactly the coat and boot weather we might expect from a European autumn. Instead, the streets are awash with lighter layers, bare legs, tank tops, and other very helpful outfit inspirations for those of us watching on from the southern hemisphere.
As for the schedule itself, it's expectedly jam-packed. There's Chanel, Saint Laurent, Dior, Louis Vuitton, The Row, Chloé and Hermès... in other words, there is good reason to keep your eyes on the runway (or at least make sure your GoRunway subscription is up to date) — and plenty to look out for on the streets outside, too.
So don't let your fashion month fatigue get the best of you just yet. Below, these are the street style moments we're bookmarking from Paris Fashion Week SS27.
If the streets of Paris have got you feeling inspired, there's plenty more where that came from. For those moments when you've thrown practicality to the wind and retired your ludicrously capacious tote, why not throw your belongings (and by that, we mean a lipgloss and your keys) into a mini bag? Or, if you're looking to make one of this season's biggest runway trends feel at home in your own wardrobe, we've got the lowdown on fashion's current fixation on the Medieval era. And if, like us, you can't stop thinking about Prada's recent runway triumph, you'll want to get acquainted with these knee-length skirts.
