Ever wished you could escape from reality and really reset? Perhaps at a luxury wellness retreat? Season two of Nine Perfect Strangers might be just the trick. The chaotic series, which was born from the work of novelist Liane Moriarty (who also gave us Big little Lies) is back for a second instalment, and it's set to be even more weird and wonderful than the first. What is season two of Nine Perfect Strangers about?
Cast your mind back just a few years, and you'll remember that season one took place in the fictional town of Cabrillo, California — which was actually filmed at Byron Bay's famed retreat, SOMA. This time around, things will take place in the Austrian Alps.

The official log line reads: “Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru, Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman), to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself."
Who is cast in Nine Perfect Strangers season two?
If the synopsis didn't already give it away, we know that Nicole Kidman is back on board as the mysteriously cultish and experimental guru, Masha. However, she'll be treating a whole new ensemble cast of guests looking to overhaul their lives. Joining Kidman are Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Mark Strong and Aras Aydin. There's no word yet, however, on who each of the actors will play.
When does Nine Perfect Strangers premiere?
The first two episodes are set to drop on Prime Video on May 22, 2025. After that, you can expect new episodes weekly.
