'Supermodel' is a weighted title these days. Once reserved only for a select few, the word now exists in a more nebulous space. In the age of Instagram metrics, nepo babies, and instant virality, there's often an outcry from the fashion faithful when the term is thrown at a new face. But if the Spring Summer 2026 season taught us anything, it's that there's a new wave of models who will be around for far longer than just a season, and are more than deserving of the moniker.
This cohort isn't just defined by beauty (though there’s plenty of that between them); rather, it’s their presence and personality that commands far more than the camera and sets them apart. These faces may hail from many different parts of the world, but you've likely seen them collide on more than a few runways this season. Below, RUSSH's pick of the up-and-coming supermodels we can't look away from.
Anok Yai

27-year-old Anok is best known as the second-ever Black model (after Naomi Campbell, no less) to open a Prada show. The major moment was actually her runway debut, and came just four months after the South Sudanese-American model was scouted – by a photographer who spotted her in the crowd at Howard University’s homecoming week.
Since then, she's gone on to walk countless runways, front campaigns for Prada, Saint Laurent, and GAP, score an Estée Lauder contract, and several major editorials.
Alex Consani

You've probably seen her on TikTok – but make no mistake, Alex Consani is as legitimate as models come. She signed with a modelling agency at 12, becoming the world's youngest-ever transgender model. Now at 22, she's a regular fixture on runways for the likes of Thom Browne, Alexander McQueen, Versace and Mugler, has fronted campaigns for Jacquemus, and was voted Model Of The Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2024. In other words, she's booked and busy.
Angelina Kendall

Angelina Kendall cropped up from seeming obscurity to become one of the most-talked about models of the moment. Hailing originally from Australia, it wasn't until her debut autumn winter 23 season, where she tallied a total of 17 runways (including a debut at Khaite) that the rest of the world really took notice. Since then, her impeccable cheekbones (she's been dubbed 'baby Giselle' because of them) and mane of hair is just about everywhere – including on major magazine covers, and in campaigns for Phoebe Philo, Tom Ford, and Versace. A huge deal for any model, let alone a 20-year-old.
Paloma Elsesser

Paloma Elsesser isn't exactly a new face, but we'd say she's finally getting the recognition she deserves. She began modelling at 22 when legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath spotted her on Instagram, and someone from her team got in touch. Nearly a decade later (with countless runways, editorials and even the release of her own book in between, and Elsesser became the first plus-size model to win Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards. A year later, she appeared on the Victoria's Secret runway.
Anna Robinson

When RUSSH first tapped Anna Robinson to front the cover of our Legacy issue, we knew it would only be a matter of time before the rest of the world took notice. Fast forward to 2025, and that's exactly what happened. Robinson is practically everywhere at the moment, from Calvin Klein runways to Prada campaigns. Something tells us this is only the beginning.
Loli Bahia

Loli made her runway debut in 2023 at just 17 for Louis Vuitton, and went on to walk a staggering 65 shows in her first year alone. She originally hails from Lyon, but found her life changed forever when she accompanied a friend to a modelling contest, and found herself scouted. Having more or less mastered the modelling world (her accolades include opening and closing countless runways, walking as the CHANEL bride, and fronting major campaigns), she's now trying her hand at acting. In 2023, she played a young Jeanne du Barry in Maïwenn’s film of the same name.
Jill Kortleve

Dutch model Jill Kortleve has long been a quiet force in fashion. She first made waves when she walked for Chanel in 2020—the house’s first curve model to do so in over a decade. Since then, she’s become a mainstay on luxury runways and in campaigns for brands like Jacquemus, Mugler, and Fendi, as well as on magazine covers (including RUSSH's inaugural Beauty Annual). With her distinctive features and grounded presence, Kortleve is part of the changing face of the industry.
Stella Hanan

Stella Hanan is another new Australian face with undeniable star power. Though she was first scouted at Sydeny's Paddington markets at 14, Hanan didn't try her luck at the international modelling scene until the Spring Summer 25 season, where she debuted at Alaïa, and then appeared on runways for the likes of Khaite, Michael Kors, Saint Laurent, Versace, and Gucci. Now based in New York, if the Spring Summer 26 season was anything to go by, Hanan is showing no signs of slowing down.
Vittoria Ceretti

It’s hard to remember a time when Vittoria Ceretti wasn’t everywhere. The Italian model began working as a teenager in 2013, but it was her post-Philo Celine and Chanel years that cemented her status as a high-fashion mainstay. She’s since fronted campaigns for nearly every major house, closed couture shows, and become one of the most recognisable faces in fashion. No big deal.
Gabbriette

She's the underground It-girl turned fashionable favourite. Gabbriette – born Gabriella Bechtel – actually got her start in music before being plucked for campaigns by the likes of Heaven by Marc Jacobs and Diesel. With her jet-black hair and cult following online, she’s become the new face of grunge glamour. It's no wonder she's Charli XCX's favourite reference.
Mariacarla Boscano

If there was an award for modern-day supermodel royalty, Mariacarla Boscono would wear the crown. The Italian model has been walking since the early 2000s, and more than two decades in, she’s still closing shows for the world’s biggest houses. With her dramatic features and signature walk, Boscono brings a level of theatricality few others can match. Timeless, in every sense of the word.
Precious Lee

Another future super working to break the mould of traditional modelling, Precious Lee has never played by the rules, and that's exactly why we love her. One of the first curve models to walk for Versace, she’s since become a powerful force for representation, both on and off the runway. With a portfolio spanning major campaigns, runways, and red carpet appearances (including the Met Gala), Lee isn’t just in fashion — she’s shaping its future.
Devon Lee Carlson

Devon Lee Carlson might be better known to some as the internet’s original cool girl, but she’s steadily carving out space in the fashion world, too. From her brand Wildflower Cases to fronting campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Sandy Liang, Carlson has evolved from influencer to legitimate muse. Whether she’s on a runway or a magazine cover, Devon’s appeal lies in her refusal to be anything other than herself.
