Netflix is holding a Pride celebration with Dolly Parton, Hannah Gadsby and Laverne Cox

Dolly Parton Netflix Pride

To close of the month of June, which we celebrate as Pride Month, Netflix is holding its very own Pride celebration.

Netflix will be hosting a virtual celebration on June 30, to close off the month that commemorates the anniversary of the Stonewall riots and liberation of the LGBTQI+ community.

So what can we expect? Well, you might have guessed that we'll be seeing appearances by the Queer Eye "Fab 5", and you'd be totally and completely right. Tan, Antoni, Karamo, Jonathan and interior genius (and my personal idol) Bobby will all be there to amp up the celebrations.

Top billed guests also include Laverne Cox, Hannah Gadsby, Tituss Burgess and the one and only Dolly Parton.

The event will be streamable on Netflix's YouTube and also its official Tik Tok account.

According to the event poster its a "digital event for reflection and celebration" presented by The Most. We're yet to see a program or schedule but we know that we'll see celebrations of queer artists, performers and special appearances from Rupaul's Drag Race.

You can see the full line up on the event poster Tweeted out by The Most's Twitter account.

We can't deny that we're particularly excited to see the effervescent and always joyful Dolly Parton. That wonderful woman never fails to put a smile on your face.

In addition to celebration everything that Pride month stands for, Netflix Pride is also held in support of key LGBTQI+ organisations, OutRight, The Marsha P Johnson Institute, and the Trans Justice Funding Project.

You can tune in on the festivities this June 30 4pm PST (which is 9am the next day for those us on on the East coast of Australia). Showing on the Netflix YouTube and Tik Tok accounts.

Stay inspired, follow us.
