Micaela Wittman gets ready for Ann Demeulemeester FW25 show at Paris Fashion Week

Actor and writer Micaela Wittman first made waves with Clairevoyant, a whip-smart satire of LA’s wellness industrial complex, and hasn’t slowed down since. Whether she’s on screen or front row, her presence is equal parts sharp-witted and sincere, and in 2025, she’s juggling two upcoming films – Perfect, a queer romance with Julia Fox, and We’re Already There (which Wittman also wrote the script for).

We caught up with the actor while she was in Paris, soaking up the energy of Fashion Week and getting ready for Ann Demeulemeester’s FW25 show. Here, she talks to RUSSH about the essentials that get her through the week, the thrill of working with Julia Fox, and what she’s manifesting for 2025.

My star sign is …

Libra.

It suits me because …

Having things be fair and seeing justice served is very important to me.

The film that made me want to act was …

Probably The Secret Garden.

My dream co-star is …

Jacob Elordi or Jim Carrey.

My 3 Paris Fashion Week essentials are …

Lanolin cream (it's the best chapstick), a pair of Carel heels (they go with everything), and my straightener.

A favourite look from the Ann Demeulemeester show was …

The pinstripe pants and vest with the ruffled poet's blouse underneath, and the flowing ribbons coming down from the belt and the sleeves. It's very Lisa Bonet.

I would describe my personal style as …

Right now, simplicity is best because I'm still in the process of expanding my wardrobe, and you can't go wrong with the classics like all black, or a chic pant suit, or good pair of jeans paired with an off-the-shoulder shirt. But, if I can do it well, I'd love to go in a more Coquette direction.

My non-negotiable morning ritual is …

Going out for coffee and a sweet treat.

Tell us about your two upcoming films …

Perfect is a queer romance that I was lucky enough to work with an incredible team on, including Julia Fox. We're Already There is a drama I shot about a month after, although I think it ends up being more of a comedy because you can't avoid comedic moments in life when you're trying to take something really seriously.

In a word, working with Julia Fox was …

Surreal.

In 2025, I’m manifesting …

To get my bag up and work a lot in both film and fashion.
